Unmanned Aircraft Systems Certification Information

*Please note, this is a recertification course ONLY. Individuals must have a prior certification.
This is a one-day course to assist individuals in preparing to recertify per the FAR Part 107 UAS Certification. The curriculum will cover everything that you need to know to pass the aeronautical knowledge test. Subjects to be covered include FAA UAS regulations, weather, National Airspace System, airport operations, aeronautical decision making, radio communications and more. Included in the workshop are practice tests as well as completing the FAA knowledge test for certification.
Attendees will receive course information, the knowledge test and lunch.
Course instructors are assistant professor Steve Goetz, associate professors Mike Robertson and Bryan Harrison, and flight instructor Ken Bro from the Aviation Management and Flight Department. From the Aviation Technologies Department; Harry Fanning, lecturer, and Dr. Charles Rodriguez, visiting lecturer.
