The American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) hosts the Student Steel Bridge Competition (SSBC) regional and national conferences every year through chosen host universities. Hundreds of student teams design, fabricate and compete their steel bridges.

Conference fees include the following: competition events, dinner awards banquet, social event, t-shirt, drawstring bag, water bottle and lanyard.
Housing Package
Optional on campus housing available for student teams only.
Single room (1 person/1bedroom): $28 per night.
Double room (2 persons/2bedrooms): $35 per night.
Each two-bedroom suite (2 persons per suite), includes one connecting bathroom, with a shower stall and toilet. Each bedroom contains an extra-long twin bed, sink and linen package (towels, washcloths, mattress pad, two sheets, pillow and pillow case).The average room layout is shown below. Some rooms may vary.
