Early College Access & Scaling Educational Pathways in Illinois Conference
Thursday, September 16, 2021 at the SIU Carbondale, Student Center
Overview
Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s School of Education, in cooperation with Northern Illinois University's Education System Center, the Southern Illinois Future Teachers Coalition, and other partners will be hosting a conference for school administrators, guidance office personnel, interested teachers, curriculum staff, and all appropriate college staff.
This conference will focus on helping alignment between K12s, community colleges, universities, and the career pipeline. Specifically, all stakeholders will learn about opportunities to expand dual credit programs and other early college opportunities via the model partnership agreement, ISBE’s Career and College Pathway Endorsements work, ISBE’s educational pathways initiatives, scroll to the Education Career Pathway Grant section), the 60 x 25 initiative, and bring stakeholders together for networking opportunities.
