Art Outside
Spend the morning outside drawing, painting, and printmaking to explore campus and capture the natural beauty. We will collect items from nature for observational drawings and paint on site. We will look at artists that use nature and architecture around them as inspiration.

Wearable Art
Create unique wearable art such as pins, necklaces, crowns, stamped leather belt, custom printed tee shirts, and more. We look at artists who focus on wearable items. Campers will create with a variety of materials such as clay, fabric, paper, yarn, leather, and more!

Sewing Stuffed Sculptures
Learn both hand sewing and to use sewing machines to create felt stuffed sculptures. You can make a pillow, animal, cartoon, or use your imagination and create a mythical creature. We will design on paper, create a pattern, sew, and build. After assembled, we will embellish with fabric paints, buttons, embroidery and appliqué techniques.

Creative Clay
Discover the world of clay! This class will explore both a hand-building and wheel throwing both functional pottery such as bowls and cups and exploring more sculptural ways of making with clay.

Drawing Comic Books
Draw and tell a story to create your own comic book. During the class we will develop a storyline and characters. We will combine drawings and bind into a handmade comic book. This workshop will use pencils, markers, colored pencils, and some sewing for book binding.

Mixed Media Sculptures
Discover the world of 3D sculptures using clay, paper mache, and mixed media. Create a pinata, hat or mask, or make an animal. Campers will design, build an armature, and decorate with paint, glaze, and mixed media.

Fibers and Printmaking Week
This workshop will combine our love of printmaking and fibers. The workshop will focus on creating handmade fabrics with dye and printmaking techniques. We will also explore weaving and build a loom and more. Each student will learn how to use the sewing machine, how to add fun details with hand sewing, as well as screen printing, mono printing and more!
