Saturday Young Artist Workshop

Please join us for the Fall 2024 session of the Saturday Young Artist Workshop for grades K-9. This fall the students are exploring the theme: MONSTERS.

  • K-2: will be creating their own monster costumes
  • 3-5: will be creating 3D table-top monsters
  • 6-9: will be exploring personal monsters and deep shadow techniques

Dates: Classes meet Sept 14, 21 and 28 and on Oct. 5 and 2 (No classes  Oct 12 and 19)

Location: Allyn 102

The SYAW Art Exhibit is Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024 in the Vergette Gallery

Registration will be completed through SIU Conference Services. To best serve your artists, this session we will be capping each grade group at 15 students, so register early to ensure a spot:
