SIU Fall Baseball Prospect Showcase- Sept 6, 2025
SOUTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY FALL BASEBALL PROSPECT SHOWCASE
The SIU Fall Baseball Prospect Showcase is a phenomenal opportunity for 9th-12th graders to showcase their abilities in front of the Baseball Staff here at Southern Illinois University. This will be a pro-level showcase with Player Evaluations, Instructional Work, Data Driven Bullpens, and Machine Scrimmage. This will allow for one-on-one bullpens with baseball staff members, followed by instructional arm care routines. The positional players will have a pro-style workout with Warm-Up (with Baseball Strength Coach), 60’s, OF Throws, INF Ground Balls with throws, Catcher Pop Times, and Batting Practice. After Batting Practice, we will conduct a Machine Scrimmage for all the position players to be evaluated at game speed in front of the Baseball Staff. The Showcase will be separated into 2 groups with Pitchers and Catchers in the morning, and position players in the afternoon. YOU CAN DO BOTH! Just make sure to sign-up as a 2-way Player. In between the 2 groups we will have a recruiting talk for all Parents/Guardians that are looking to learn more about Southern Illinois University. The players will have access to the Players Clubhouse with a tour of the facilities at Itchy Jones Stadium.
