STEAM Day Camp

Involving Girls in Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture and Math (STEAM) Camp is a four-day program designed for middle school students to explore science, technology, engineering, agriculture and math during the summer break from school.

Faculty and students from the College of Engineering, College of Applied Sciences and Arts, College of Science, and College of Agricultural Science will lead students through hands-on experiments, exploring the natural environment and engaging demonstrations.

The goal is to explore the world around us, to enhance confidence in problem solving, to meet new people and to spark our students' interest in important careers that can improve the world in which we live.

Details

This is for students entering grade 6, 7, of 8 for fall 2024.

  • Date: July 15 – July 18, 2024
  • Time: 8:30am- 3pm
  • Check-In: 8am on Monday July 15, 2024 In Pulliam, Room 34. 
  • Location: STEM Education Research Center

Cancellation/Refund Policy

ALL requests for refunds must be submitted in writing. The registration fee, less a $15 cancellation fee, will be refunded if you cancel at least 7 business days prior to the camp.  Any time after that date, refunds (less the $15 fee) will be issued for medical reasons only and must have a signed statement from your physician. If a medical cancellation request is not received by the last day of instruction, a refund will not be issued. Refunds are not given to campers who voluntarily leave camp or who are sent home for disciplinary reasons.

  • Camp Requirement

    Th Camp Medical Release Form is required for camp participation and must be received in our office at least five (5) business days prior to camp beginning in order for the student to participate.
