The Paul Simon Public Policy Institute invites you to join us for the Gil & Jean Kroening Fellowship Lecture Series featuring:

Steve Ellis ’76
Deputy Director for Operations
Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Department of the Interior

Steve Ellis is his agency’s highest career official, responsible for 10,000 employees and 10% of all land in the U.S. His 36-year career began on a fire crew in the Shawnee National Forest and he since has served in a variety of positions at BLM. He has a forestry degree from SIU Carbondale and a master’s degree from Northern Illinois University.
